Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Education Library (FSEL) of Busitema University. As we pursue excellence at Busitema University, the FSEL resides well with the Busitema University Libraries goals and objectives that are aligned to the University Strategic plan. Libraries are an essential part of the fabric of university life. They are essential spaces, where one can tread in and advantage themselves to a wealth of resources and services. Our library is committed to empowering the campus to achieve its goals of offering accessible quality training, research and innovation in order to produce educationists and leaders in the fields of Education and Science that meet the dynamics of the world by offering timely access to pertinent information resources for teaching, learning, research and innovation.
Our library is of a hybrid nature and is home to a diverse and extensive assemblage of academic and research resources that offer a wide range of physical and electronic resources to guide and ease your research, academic, innovation and community service endeavors. This vast collection gives you a multitude of perspectives on your field of study to quench your curiosity and discovery.
Our library staff are positive beings that are ready and available for you to meet your information and training needs that make your study and research manageable and simple. This team of staff is made up of talented, creative and skilled people who are committed to strengthening the learning and research initiatives on campus and actively collaborate with all stakeholders to collectively support the success of our students and faculty. Located at the Makoola house building housing the administration offices as well, the library is accessible and uniquely positioned to serve as an information hub for the university community.
